Patients Together demand that the Taoiseach along with the Minister for Health ensure that all those lying on trolleys and chairs or left on mattresses on the floor have access to a panic button.
* Patents feel unsafe
* Patients cannot be heard when they call for help
* Women in particular left in tiny secluded areas on trolleys side by side with strange men are very nervous.
These people are admitted patients and unwell enough to warrant that coveted hospital bed. But instead are left for days on trolleys sick and terrified. We demand that they at least in some way feel safe. Please address this immediately.
